Cavs' Tristan Thompson expected to miss 1 month with calf injury

The reeling Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to be without center Tristan Thompson for a month as he recovers from a left calf injury.

The team announced Thursday that Thompson is expected to return to play in three to four weeks after suffering a calf strain Wednesday night.

Thompson suffered the injury late in the second quarter of the Cavs' 124-107 loss to the Pacers in Cleveland. He had to be helped off the floor and could be seen hobbling to the locker room.
