Carmelo Anthony calls Jordan Brand report 'false news'
Carmelo Anthony has denied a report of Jordan Brand closing his signature sneaker, calling it "false news."
When asked about the report after the Thunder's preseason 96-86 victory over the Nuggets, Anthony said, “It’s false. False. Let’s not even discuss that.”
Anthony continued, “I just signed an extension with them. I don’t read into false news.”

ESPN reported earlier on Tuesday that Jordan Brand would be discontinuing the "Melo" signature series after 13 models. The report also stated that Anthony would continue to work with Jordan and would sport different models of the shoe, including custom editions of retro models and even remixed version of his very first signature model.
