5-star prospect Emmitt Williams charged with sexual battery, false imprisonment
Five-star power forward prospect Emmitt Williams faces felony sexual battery and false imprisonment charges after being arrested early Wednesday in Orlando, Fla.
Orange County online booking records show Williams, 19, was booked at 12:40 a.m. ET after being arrested by Orlando police. According to court records, the arrest stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 11 and a warrant for Williams' arrest was issued the following day. Details of the arrest affidavit were not immediately available.
Williams is a senior at Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, transferring there this summer after two years at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He is the No. 5 power forward and No. 21 overall player in the Class of 2018 according to 247Sports' composite rankings.

The incident in question is alleged to have occurred a day before Williams made an official visit to LSU. He had been slated to visit Florida this weekend. He previously visited Oregon and also has drawn interest from Duke, Kansas, Miami and USC, among other schools.
