When “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” kicks off on 18 March, two Singapore-based Indian prodigies will appear on the show.
ONE Championship atomweight rising star Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat will be a guest athlete, while Zilingo Co-Founder Ankiti Bose will be a guest CEO. They will be responsible for testing the 16 candidates in athletic and business skills, respectively.

Before the first episode airs, we look at three things Phogat and Bose have in common.
#1 They Dominate Their Industries
Since joining ONE Championship in November 2019, Phogat has steamrolled every opponent.
“The Indian Tigress” has gone 4-0 with three finishes, stopping Jomary “The Zamboanginian Fighter” Torres, Nou Srey Pov, and “Captain Marvel” Nam Hee Kim.
Due to that success, she’s also one of eight women who was invited to compete in the upcoming ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix.
Bose, meanwhile, has been dominating the world of business.
At 23 years old, she co-founded Zilingo, which has raised a whopping US$308 million from investors.
#2 They Inspire Future Generations
Bose has done a lot in business, and she wants to pass on important knowledge to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
With that goal in mind, she sits on the board of Surge – an initiative by Sequoia Capital designed to supercharge early-stage startups – and offers her business advice to those in need.
Likewise, Phogat has inspired her compatriots through victorious acts in mixed martial arts.
With every win, she shows the next generation that they don’t have to take a traditional route through life.
#3 They ‘Fight The Good Fight’
Phogat has always competed for the sheer love of sports, and she exudes the qualities that are valued across ONE Championship’s roster of martial artists.
The Indian native is likened to a hero on a journey who’s fighting to become the first Mixed Martial Arts World Champion from her country. She can show her compatriots that they, too, can achieve great things in life – both inside and outside of competition.
Bose, meanwhile, is fighting for the future of women in the labor force.
She founded SheWorkz, which helps reskill female factory workers so they can become more financially independent.
