Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is excited to work with Marcus Rashford and impart his knowledge to "a potential top, top striker".
Since taking over the Old Trafford hot seat just before Christmas, Solskjaer had put the 21-year-old in charge of leading the attack and was rewarded with two goals and an assist in three appearances.
In an exclusive interview with Astro Supersport, the former Red Devils star raved about his young striker, believing he could become one of the best strikers in the world.
"I went to see the Young Boys game around a month ago [Manchester United won 1-0] and I met him and Jesse [Lingard] just in the corridor as I was leaving the game and he was sighing.
"He had a few chances in that game and I said, 'don't worry, son, just relax a little bit'.
"When you're young you want to rush finishes off, and it will be great to work with a potential top, top striker just on his calmness in front of goal.
"Scoring goals was my X-factor, so if I can help and guide him a little bit, it will be great," said the 45-year-old.
Besides Rashford, Solskjaer also spoke about two other forwards in the team, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku — the former had yet to feature under him, while the latter made a goal-scoring cameo in a 4-1 win over Bournemouth.
"Both of them are top, top strikers. I have just seen them now for a session and they had a light session yesterday so it will be great to watch them more closely.
"Of course with Anthony [Martial], Jesse, and Rashford, I have seen them now in games and in live situations.
"But seeing how they [Lukaku and Sanchez] react when out on the pitch will be nice because then I can know a little bit more," he said.
