Selepas tewas dalam aksi pertama mereka di tangan Mali, perlawanan kedua bagi kumpulan E nampaknya memihak kepada mereka.
Malam bertuah Afrika Selatan bermula selepas Thapelo Morena dikasari pertahanan lawan dalam kotak penalti Namibia sekaligus dihadiahkan sepakan penalti pada minit ke-11 sebelum Percy Tau menyempurnakanya untuk kedudukan 1-0.
Derita Namibia kemudianya ditambah oleh Themba Zwane pada minit ke-25 dan 40 untuk kedudukan 3-0 sebelum kedua-dua pasukan ke bilik persalinan.
Thapelo Maseko kemudianya melengkapkan tiga mata buat Afrika Selatan dengan gol keempat pada minit ke-75 untuk menutup aksi dengan kedudukan 4-0.
Dengan kemenangan ini Afrika Selatan kini menghuni di tangga kedua Kumpulan E dibelakang Mali dengan dibezakan satu mata.
