The world champions have also secured their second silverware of 2025 after winning the World Championships in August.

The world champions claimed the opening game thanks to their great start which saw them hold a five-point advantage at 11-6 at the interval.

The Indonesians rallied back after the break to draw level at 15-15, but that proved their best spell of the game as Chen-Toh pulled away after that for the deserved 21-16 win.

The Malaysians continued to exhibit fantastic badminton in the second game, with Toh showcasing skills to retrieve a return from the floor, while Chen fired away smashes each time their opponents lifted high.

As a result, they pulled away to a commanding 11-4 lead and it looked destined to be their day.

Victory was sealed when Chen's smashes tumbled over the net to signify a day in which everything went their way.

Chen-Toh become the first full Malaysian mixed doubles pair to win this Super 500 event since Ng Kean Kok-Chor Hoor Yee did it in 2003.

Another Malaysian shuttler Joanne Quay won it with her Australian partner in 2006.
