Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin reached their second final in three weeks after they stunned their world number one opponents to reach the Indonesia Open final.
The Malaysians dished out a 21-18, 17-21, 21-16 victory over South Koreans Seo Seung-jae-Kim Won-ho to deservedly book their spot in this Super 1000 final.
Goh was immense on the front court, winning the battle handsomely over a error-prone Kim, while Izzuddin's targeted smashes were just too hot for the defending champions to handle.
The world number eight pair also kept their cool in tense rallies to seal their second win over Kim-Seo and level the head-to-head record.
The last time Goh-Izzudin beat the South Koreans was at last year's India Open when they were crowned champions.
Goh-Izzudin have now reached their third final of the year, having won the Indonesia Masters in January and reached the Malaysia Masters final two weeks ago.
They will face an Indonesian opponent on Sunday, and if they can win, will end a 18-year wait for victory in this event since Mohd Zakry Latif-Fairuzizuan Tazari won back in 2008.
