National women’s doubles player, Go Pei Kee, has reportedly chosen not to return to the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).

Astro Arena reporter, Zaki Zainal, reported mid-last month that BAM had received a resignation letter from the 24-year-old player.

However, BAM Performance Committee Chairman, Datuk Seri Lee Chong Wei, reportedly intended to hold a heart-to-heart meeting to persuade her to reconsider her decision.

Nevertheless, latest developments show that Pei Kee is standing firm on her decision not to rejoin the governing body, indicating that she will likely move forward as a professional player
