Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah joined their national team-mates Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik in the Denmark Open final after both Malaysian pairs won their matches in straight games on Sunday.
Chia-Soh, reunited for good in this Super 750 event, had first booked their place with an impressive 21-14, 21-18 victory over world number one South Koreans Kim Won-ho-Seo Seung-jae.
Tan-Thinaah made sure there was going to be double the excitement for fans on Sunday after they beat Chinese pair Bao Li Jing-Chao Zhi Han 21-16, 21-14.
It was an impressive performance from the Malaysians, who could have won by a bigger margin after they stormed off to a 11-2 lead in the opening game.
The recent Asian Games bronze medalists will contest again a Japanese pair in their third final of the year.
Chia-Soh, meanwhile, also have plenty to celebrate.
The world number four are finally back playing together again after months of experimenting with different partners following an internal reshuffle.
Chia-Soh have also now beaten Kim-Seo in back-to-back matches, having also eliminated them from the World Championships in August.
The Malaysians will now face Indonesians Fajar Alfian-Shohibul Fikri in their attempt to win the Denmark Open for the second time.
Interestingly, the Malaysians won their first World Tour title when they won the 2023 Denmark Open.
