National sprinter Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee has qualified for the men’s 100m final at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships in Oregon, United States.
He clocked 10.36 seconds to finish second in his semi-final, earning a place in the final, which will take place tomorrow.
His achievement also puts him among the world’s top nine U20 sprinters.
Earlier, Danish recorded a season-best time of 10.30 seconds in Heat 6 to qualify for the semi-finals.
“Alhamdulillah! Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee ran 10.36 seconds in Semi-final 2 of the men’s 100m at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships, booking his place in tomorrow’s final at 11.50am (local time).
“This result makes Danish one of the world’s top nine U20 sprinters and marks another proud moment for Malaysian athletics. Congratulations, Danish, and all the best in the final!” said Malaysian Athletics (MA).
