National professional men's doubles pair, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, crashed out in the first round of the Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) after losing to Thai representatives Chaloempon Charoenkitamorn-Worrapol Thongsanga at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center last night.

Entering as the seventh seeds, Fei-Din were challenged from the very first shot. Although they managed to level the score at 17-17, they couldn't shut down their opponents and eventually conceded the first set 22-24.

The action intensified in the second set with neither pair showing clear dominance. However, when the score was tied again at 17-17, the national duo remained calmer to force a deciding set with a 21-18 win.

Unfortunately, their performance seemed to falter in the third set. Fei-Din never held the lead and struggled to find points, eventually bowing out with an 11-21 defeat after a total battle lasting one hour and four minutes.
