Five-star forward and high-flying YouTube sensation Zion Williamson says he'll announce his college decision Jan. 20.
Rated the No. 2 prospect in the class of 2018 according to 247Sports' composite rankings, Williamson — a 6-6, 275-pound forward from Spartanburg (S.C.) Day School — has taken official visits to Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina, plus multiple unofficial visits to nearby Clemson and South Carolina, according to multiple reports.
"Zion Williamson is a freak athlete who is one of the most unique prospects to come through high school basketball in recent years," 247Sports analyst Josh Gershon said. "He’s a bruising, tough and physical hybrid forward who is impossible to stop in transition. Williamson is a high-level rebounder and shot-blocker who plays with an extremely high motor."
