Martial artists are some of the hardest working and most active athletes in the world – but even they deserve some time away from the gym.

When not competing in the Circle, here is what three of the most talented ONE Championship athletes love to do on their downtime.

Sun, Sea, And Surf For Bali-Based American

Former ONE Bantamweight World Title challenger Andrew Leone and his brother Anthony are both hardcore surfing enthusiasts.

The American braved the cold Long Island beaches for years before he jumped on a life-changing offer to make a splash in Indonesia’s growing mixed martial arts scene.

Steven Suryadinata – owner of Jakarta Muay Thai and MMA – had floated the idea of opening a martial arts gym to the brothers.

So, Leone and his brother packed their bags and moved to the Southeast Asian country to run their own mixed martial arts gym.

An enviable mix of business and pleasure, Leone now co-owns a thriving gym while enjoying the warm seas and tropical paradise of Bali.

When not preparing for a match in the Circle, Leone likes to unwind with a surfing session to clear his head and enjoy the waves.

Videogame Streaming For “Mighty Mouse”

ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is arguably the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.

Competing at the highest level requires so much dedication that it may often appear as if he has no time for fun and games.

However, “Mighty Mouse” has parlayed his martial arts success into a budding career as a celebrity streamer on Twitch and serves as the Chief Brand Ambassador for ONE Esports.

Johnson, whose first brush with video games was through a Super Nintendo, grew up to become an avid gamer and today, he enjoys streaming his adventures on popular titles like PUBG and Fortnite.

While the American may find it hard to match his legendary skills with the sticks of a gamepad, he is no pushover when it comes to video games. As fellow athletes learned during the ONE Elite Retreat, Johnson handily bested all challengers in Street Fighter V.

Video games have also given “Mighty Mouse” another platform to interact with his fans, and the Washington native could be looking at a career in video gaming once his hall of fame mixed martial arts career is over.

Biking In Baguio For Team Lakay Flyweight

For many athletes who abide by a strict strength and conditioning regimen, former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio instead prefers to mix up his training with some off-road mountain biking.

The lush greenery of Baguio’s natural forests and its many trails provide Eustaquio a ton of terrain to cover with his mountain bike.

First introduced to the activity by his teammate, Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, Eustaquio quickly found the added challenge of mountain biking a good alternative to exercise.

With the mountains and rivers teeming with wildlife, a ride through the woods is a great way for “Gravity” to enjoy the natural splendor of Baguio.

Together with his Team Lakay stablemates Honorio “The Rock” Banario, Joshua “The Passion” Pacio, and Kelly, the foursome is known to hit the off-roads and explore the vast landscape.
