The Wells Fargo Championship was slowed by storms Friday, which led to a morning delay. Players finally did take the course, but the second round was still in progress when darkness ended play.
Four are tied atop the leaderboard heading into the weekend. Seamus Power and Billy Hurley III finished their second rounds at 5 under, while John Peterson and Francesco Molinari are both at 5 under with holes remaining in their second rounds.
Strong winds kept scores at bay Friday, but a few players were able to move up the leaderboard.
Spaniards Jon Rahm and Rafa Cabrera Bello led a group at 4 under. Both players are in the clubhouse through two rounds, and will likely have a to wait a while to begin their third rounds.
Adam Scott and Dustin Johnson are currently at even par, which is just inside the cut line. They are both on the back nine of their second rounds.
Phil Mickelson finished his second round at 1 under for the tournament.
The second round will resume Saturday morning at 7:30 ET, with the third round following immediately afterward.
