The American-born Malaysian, who made his MLS debut against the Columbus Crew a week earlier, was subbed on in the 18th minute after Yohan Croizet picked up an injury.
At that time, the score was level at 1-1 after the visiting team's Tyrone Mears cancelled out Daniel Salloi's opener.
17 minutes after coming on, the 19-year-old put his side ahead as he sliced Graham Zusi's deflected cross through a crowded penalty area into the bottom left corner.
⚽️ One more time for those those in the back... the Malaysian Messi @LeKuz7 is on the board!!!

Cristian Lobato increased Sporting's lead three minutes later before Diego Rubio sealed the game in the 81st minute.
"[It feels] even better [than when I first signed for the Kansas City] that I cannot even describe it," he said after the match.
"That's how much it means to me and hopefully [there will be] more to come."
He also admitted that he was not sure that he actually scored the goal.
"I made good contact and Peter [Vermes] said I scored, so I listened to him that it went in," he added.
