An astonishingly large portion of NBA general managers think the Warriors will repeat as national champions, according to the league's annual GM survey.
A whopping 93 percent of managers believe the Warriors will win their third title in four years. It's the highest margin since the league enacted the survey 16 years ago.
The other seven percent believe Cleveland will win the national title.
Despite the Warriors-heavy margin, 50 percent of GMs believe LeBron James will win MVP this season. Another 29 percent believe Kevin Durant will repeat as MVP. Kawai Leonard came in with 11 percent, James Harden with seven percent, and Stephen Curry with four percent.
Karl-Anthony Towns was voted to have the best breakout season (28 percent), Curry was voted the best point guard (62 percent), Harden was voted the best shooting guard (83 percent), James was voted the best small forward (61 percent) and Anthony Davis snagged the most votes for best power forward (41 percent).
Per survey rules, general managers were not allowed to vote for their own team or players.
