TOT United C, who represented Malaysia at Neymar Jr’s Five world finals last year, will be back at it again after securing their qualification on Saturday.

They beat RTG Badboyz 1-0 in the final of the Malaysian qualifier to book their spot at the global futsal showdown.

They earned the honour of flying the Jalur Gemilang in Brazil without losing once throughout the qualifying stage, which was impressive considering the tournament’s unconventional format.

Every time a team concedes a goal, that team has to send a player off the pitch.

Each game lasts 10 minutes or until one team loses all its players – the team with the most players left wins.

“After 17 matches, we are finally here and can’t wait to be in Brazil!” said an elated Hazizi Mansor, captain of the team.

TOT United C will be one of the 13 Asian representatives at the world finals, which will be held from July 7th to 8th at Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
