Tuoyo Egodo scored a pair of tries as Castleford Tigers came from behind at the break to beat bottom side London Broncos 20-6 in Super League.

The wing dotted down in each half, with Oliver Holmes and Jacques O'Neill also registering for the Tigers at The Jungle on Saturday

Brock Lamb pounced for a 21st-minute try to put London in front, with Kieran Dixon adding the extra two points, before Egodo darted in for Castleford's first try.

The Broncos led 6-4 at half-time, but Holmes and O'Neill, who signed a new one-year contract this week and marked it by scoring his first try for the club, pushed Castleford into a convincing lead.

Egodo added his second try of the night and Jamie Ellis bagged a pair of goals on his return from a long injury lay-off, meaning in the end it was comfortable for the home side - whose victory nudges them up two places to fifth position.

London, with four games remaining, sit two points adrift of Wakefield Trinity, Huddersfield Giants and Hull KR in the battle to avoid relegation.
