For the first time ever, the world’s most anticipated Dota 2 tournament will be streamed live with Bahasa Malaysia commentary, exclusively on Astro’s live streaming app, Tamago.

Malaysian Dota 2 fans and gamers can tune in from August 16th to 19th (Group Stage) and from 21st to 26th (Main Event) to watch the tournament (Room 718) for free on the app for iOS and Android, or the website.

Streams of live matches starts daily at 12am (GMT+8) and will feature local casting talents such as CortX Said Za, Flava, Hana Wispie, Janda Hunter, Lin LP, Afiq Resul, Amirul Protoblade, Badd JomGaming, Bryan Chin, Dota2Onthego, Icybaby12, Isa Mimj, Xero Dawei, as well as eGG Network’s Danelie Purdue.

"For the past seven years, Dota 2 fans like myself have lost hours of sleep because of The International.

"We're excited to partner with eGG Network and Tamago to bring Malaysian Dota 2 fans exclusive Bahasa Malaysia coverage of the world's biggest Dota 2 tournament.

"Be sure to catch us on Tamago for both the Group Stages and Main Event, it's going to be epic," said Dota2Onthego, one of the talents who will be casting the tournament in Bahasa Malaysia on Tamago.

The International 2018 Dota 2 Championships will be held in Vancouver, Canada, where the top 18 teams from all over the world will battle for the US$24m prize pool, with the champions taking home half of that.

Malaysia’s best who are participating include Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung and Kam "Moon" Boon Sheng from Mineski, and Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng from Team Secret.

The official English coverage of The International 2018 will also be available on both Tamago (Room 808) and eGG Network (Astro Channel 808).
