Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2024 will take place from 17 to 24 August 2024. Thirty-seven types of sports will be contested to discover new talents aimed at producing world-class national athletes.
Meaning of SUKMA
SUKMA is short for Sukan Malaysia (Malaysia Games). It is a sporting event organized by the National Sports Council of Malaysia in collaboration with the Olympic Council of Malaysia, National Sports Associations, and the State Government involved in hosting this biennial youth sports event. Besides aiming to uncover new talents in the field of sports, the selection of states as hosts is intended to upgrade sports facilities in the states to support the overall development of sports in Malaysia.
Host of SUKMA Sarawak 2024
Sarawak is the host for SUKMA 2024. Events will be held in 9 clusters: Kuching Cluster, Samarahan Cluster, Serian Cluster, Sri Aman Cluster, Betong Cluster, Mukah Cluster, Sibu Cluster, Bintulu Cluster, and Miri Cluster.

The concept of this logo is based on the iconic Sarawak symbol, the head of the Rhinoceros Hornbill, which forms two (2) ‘S’s, representing SUKMA Sarawak.

Stadium Astro will provide the latest information on the SUKMA Sarawak 2024 medal standings for the teams competing, including Brunei, Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Perlis, Pahang, Perak, Sabah, Selangor, Sarawak, Terengganu, and the Federal Territories.
