Warriors guard Stephen Curry will miss Monday's game against the Magic, head coach Steve Kerr announced before the game.

The two-time MVP suffered a right thigh contusion Saturday in a 135-114 win over the 76ers, in which he scored 22 points in 30 minutes of action.

“If it was the playoffs, he would play,” Kerr told reporters

After losing two of their first three games, the Warriors have since rattled off nine wins in their last 10 games, including six consecutive. Shaun Livingston will get the start in Curry's place Monday.

Curry is currently averaging 25.2 points, 6.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game this season. He has scored 20-plus points in all but one game.
