As expected, Malaysia successfully won all eight diving gold medals on offer at the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Wednesday.
Nur Dhabitah Sabri, who kicked off the gold medal rush for the country on Sunday, and Pandelela Rinong completed the sweep by winning the synchronised 10-metre platform event.
The duo scored 292.14 points to finish ahead of Singapore (225.42 points) and Vietnam (185.25 points), and bag Malaysia's eighth and final diving gold medal.
Earlier in the day, Malaysian divers Syafiq Puteh (381.35 points) and Gabriel Gilbert Daim (357.30 points) won gold and silver respectively in the men's three-metre springboard event.
With their victories, it sealed Malaysia's third clean sweep of gold medals in diving events in the last four SEA Games.
The exception was the 2017 edition when Ng Yan Yee failed a doping test and was stripped of her women's synchronised 3-metre springboard gold medal won with Dhabitah.
