SEA Games: Events suspended, rescheduled due to Typhoon Tisoy

Several sports at the 2019 SEA Games have been rescheduled or suspended after Typhoon Kammuri, also known locally as Tisoy, made landfall in the Philippines.

According to an announcement shared by Filipino news outlet Rappler, some of the affected events were polo, sepak takraw, Muay Thai, skateboarding, traditional boat race, modern pentathlon, and rowing.
However, despite the natural disaster, a number of sports would still push through at the time of writing, including outdoor sports such as football, tennis, rugby 7s, archery, athletics and lawn bowls.

According to Malaysia's deputy chef-de-mission to the 30th SEA Games, Ahmad Faedzal Ramli, the postponement of the events was still under control and the Philippine SEA Games Organising Committee (PHISGOC) also gave its assurance that the delayed sports events would be completed before the official closing ceremony on December 11.
