India’s ONE: A NEW BREED II card, a pre-recorded event held in Bangkok, Thailand set for broadcast on Friday, 11 September, Phogat has her eye on a handful of interesting matchups which she feels fans shouldn’t miss.

Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym vs Sean Clancy
In the main event of ONE: A NEW BREED II, 4-time Muay Thai World Champion Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym of Thailand goes head-to-head with WBC Super Lightweight World Champion Sean “Clubber” Clancy of Ireland.
It’s a matchup that could shake things up in the very deep bantamweight division at ONE Super Series.
Phogat, like a true martial arts fan, is excited to witness all-out action, and believes she will get to see a spectacular finish unfold.
“I am such a huge fan of ONE Super Series. Anytime you have two of the best strikers in the world facing each other in the ONE Championship ring, it’s a must-watch spectacle,” said Phogat.
“Pongsiri versus Sean Clancy is going to be an amazing fight, that’s for sure. If you’re a fan of Muay Thai, you have to watch this fight. I don’t think this one is going the distance. I’m expecting a highlight-reel KO.”
Superlek Kiatmoo9 vs Fahdi Khaled
2-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9 is one of Thailand’s most popular fighters because of his explosive style. Phogat has seen Superlek in the ONE Championship ring previously and is impressed.
But if she had to pick a winner, it would be Superlek’s opponent Fahdi “The Gladiator” Khaled.
Phogat believes Khaled is heading into this bout with momentum on his side, and will score a huge upset in Bangkok.
“Superlek is such a huge name in Thailand and fans love him because he always comes to fight. You’re never going to get a boring fight with him. That’s what I love about ONE Super Series athletes, they lay it all out on the line,” said Phogat.
“But my pick is Fahdi Khaled. I was so impressed with Fahdi’s latest performance, and I think he’s growing more and more confident with his skills. I think Fahdi is going to shock a lot of Thai fans.”
Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai vs Milagros Lopez
Being a female professional martial artist, Phogat knows the amount of pressure to represent women all over the world on the biggest stage of competition. Being a fan of the sport, Phogat is excited for the ONE Super Series debut of young Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai, who takes on Argentinian Muay Thai Champion Milagros Lopez.
“Of course, I have to support the women warriors, which is why I’m totally looking forward to watching the debut of Supergirl. Her older sister, Wondergirl Fairtex is one of the most popular women fighters in ONE Super Series right now. If she is as good, or even better than Wondergirl, which many people say, then this is going to be an exciting fight to watch,” said Phogat.
“There’s a lot of hype surrounding Supergirl, and I’m hearing a lot of incredible things. Now to watch her make her ONE Super Series debut should be something special. This could be the beginning of an amazing career for her. As fans, we get to be right here at the start of her journey watching it all come together.”
