Hasan Ali, Rashid Khan and Asghar Afghan have been fined by the ICC for their behaviour in Pakistan's dramatic Asia Cup Super Four win over Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan paceman Hasan has been hit with one demerit point and docked 15 per cent of his match fee for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to "conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game".

Hasan was punished for threatening to throw the ball at Hashmatullah Shahidi after fielding off his own bowling.

Spin sensation Rashid was also given a first demerit point and hit in the pocket for a send-off given to Asif Ali late in Pakistan's successful run chase.

Afghanistan captain Asghar paid the price for making contact with Hasan with his shoulder as he passed him while taking a run.

Asghar now has two demerit points, having previously been sanctioned for showing dissent towards an umpire during a one-day international against Zimbabwe in February 2017.

Shoaib Malik (51 not out) hit a six and then a four in the final over to secure a tense three-wicket win for the ICC Champions Trophy holders after Afghanistan had set them 258 to win.
