The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Ahmed Shehzad tested positive for a banned substance.

Pakistan batsman Shehzad is set to be charged later on Tuesday after an independent review was concluded.

"Independent Review Board Report on doping case has been received by PCB," the PCB tweeted.

"Cricketer Ahmed Shezad has tested positive for a banned substance. PCB will issue charge sheet today."

The opening batsman played in two Twenty20 victories over Scotland last month.

Shehzad, 26, has featured in 13 Tests and 81 ODIs.
