The Pacers want Victor Oladipo to build on his breakout 2017-18 season. Indiana president Kevin Pritchard's front office reminded his star player of that fact in a strange way during his exit interview.

As Oladipo walked into his season-ending meeting, Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan played music by R&B duo Milli Vanilli.

"That's the biggest one-hit wonder,” Pritchard said he asked Oladipo. “Are you a one-hit wonder?"

Oladipo was unfazed by the question.

"No,” He responded “I'm Michael Jackson."

Pritchard said he challenged Oladipo in exit interview. Had Chad Buchanan play Milli Vanilli as he walked in then said, "That's the biggest one-hit wonder. Are you a one-hit wonder?" Oladipo's response: "No, I'm Michael Jackson."

Oladipo was dealt to the Pacers this offseason in the Paul George trade. He thrived during his first year in Indiana, averaging 23.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Oladipo led the league in steals, averaging 2.4 per contest, and was named to his first All-Star team.

The Pacers finished the regular season with a 48-34 record and earned the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They pushed the Cavaliers to a Game 7 but were ultimately eliminated in the first round after a 105-101 loss in Cleveland.
