Nets forward Allen Crabbe made an extremely generous gesture to prevent his old high school from closing down.

Crabbe made a significant six-figure donation to save Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School in South Los Angeles, which reportedly was facing closure due to a luck of funding unless "enrollment and fiscal quotas were met." It was first reported by TMZ and confirmed by ESPN.

However, it wasn't just his alma mater. His grandfather actually founded the school.

“I was at that school practically my whole life,” Crabbe said. “I’m just happy and feel blessed to be in a position now to do this.”

Crabbe, who is coming off his first season with the Nets, graduated from Price in 2010. He spent three years at the University of California before the Cavaliers selected him in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft.
