Now that George Hill and Sam Dekker have reportedly been dealt to the Bucks, it looks like it may be JR Smith's turn to move.

According to ESPN, the Rockets and Pelicans have both checked in on the Cavaliers 33-year-old guard.

Expect the Cavaliers to try to move on next from JR Smith. I heard this week they received some interest for Smith from the Rockets and Pelicans—both teams need depth at the wing position. Smith's 2019-20 salary is guaranteed for only $3.9M, so it has some value as a trade chip.

Both teams need help on the wings, and a report came out Thursday stating the Rockets planned to make a deal by the end of the week.

Smith asked to be traded by the Cavaliers earlier this year when the team started to cut his playing time in an effort to give younger players more experience on the court.

He is averaging 6.7 points and 1.9 assists this year in 11 games, but has not played since Nov. 19 against the Pistons.
