Whether it’s because he was embedded in “The Decision Cave” on an island in the Caribbean, is in Los Angeles, or he has little interest in his most recent employer, LeBron James will not be meeting in person with the Cavaliers any time soon, ESPN reported Saturday.

And that goes for his representatives, too.

The NBA free agency officially tips off at 12:01 a.m. ET Sunday, and if there is a rush of activity in Cleveland, don’t expect to see James in the mix.

But it appears the same cannot be said for southern California. According to Yahoo's LeBron Tracker, the NBA's most in-demand free agent arrived Saturday in SoCal on a private jet. ESPN is on his trail, too.

And if that's not enough proof, there are pictures of The King.

Not a good sign for the Cavaliers? That’s one way to read it. But it’s also very early in the process.

The Cavaliers already know James is opting out of the final season of his contract; that was communicated to them Friday morning. And although the two sides have been in touch since the Cavs were swept by the Warriors in the NBA Finals, no face-to-face meeting is imminent. Rich Paul, James’ agent, will conduct business by phone, ESPN reported.
