It looks like Kemba Walker will just need to wait until Sunday's bell to make his next move official.

According to multiple reports, the longtime Hornets guard will commit to the Celtics when free agency begins at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The Athletic noted he will agree to a four-year, $141 million maximum contract.

Boston has been the rumored landing spot for the three-time NBA All-Star for a little while.

Even though Walker insisted his top choice was to stay with the team that selected him ninth overall in the 2011 draft, he couldn't pass up the Celtics' offer after a tough couple of years that saw the Hornets miss the playoffs three consecutive seasons.

According to an earlier report from The Athletic, which cited unidentified league sources, Walker and Charlotte have experienced "sizable gaps and stalemate" in their contract discussions so far. This opened the door for potential competitors such as Dallas, the report noted.

Walker averaged a career-high 25.6 points, along with 5.9 assists for Charlotte last season. He shot 43.4 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from 3-point range.

An ESPN report stated the Hornets have already been looking for a replacement and are considering Elfrid Peyton, TJ McConnell, Ish Smith and Emmanuel Mudiay as options.
