Jahlil Okafor has found his new team.
The free-agent center has agreed to a deal with the Pelicans, ESPN reported Wednesday, citing league sources.
According to The Athletic, the deal is for two years, with the first year partially guaranteed and the second year providing a team option.
The two sides had been in discussions regarding a training camp contract after Okafor worked out for four NBA teams in Las Vegas last month and drew interest from teams in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Okafor, 22, was selected out of Duke by the 76ers with the No. 3 overall pick of the 2015 draft. He averaged 17.5 points as a rookie, though his production dropped off over the next two seasons and he was traded to the Nets in early December.
He averaged 12.6 minutes and 6.3 points in 28 games with the 76ers and Nets last season.
