Pachulia averaged 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 69 appearances for Golden State last season.

Pachulia originally signed with the Warriors in July 2016. He started 127 regular season games and won two championships during his time with Golden State.

Pachulia has played for five teams during his 15-year NBA career.

The Warriors also lost backup free agent center JaVale McGee to the Lakers this offseason. But, they signed All-Star DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year, $5.3 million contract earlier this month.

The Pistons finished 2017-18 with a 39-43 record and missed the playoffs for a second straight season. Detroit parted ways with coach Stan Van Gundy in early May and was replaced by Dwane Casey.
