Jordan opted out of his contract with the Clippers this week. He had reportedly been considering accepting the player option in an effort to facilitate a trade to Dallas.

The 29-year-old has spent all 10 of his NBA seasons with the Clippers. He averaged 12 points and 15.2 rebounds in 2017-18.

Jordan made the All-Star team in 2016-17 when he tallied 12.7 points and 13.8 rebounds per contest.

The former Texas A&M center verbally agreed to a max contract with Dallas as a free agent in 2015 before he backed out of the deal and re-signed with Los Angeles.

The Warriors had also reportedly been interested in possibly signing Jordan.
