The Suns now are off the hook for the remaining three years and $35 million on Warren's deal.

Warren was the 14th pick of the 2014 draft out of NC State, but he never was quite able to get going in Phoenix.

He had a few good stints with the team, but struggled with injuries and the Suns failed to win games.

He averaged 18.0 points last season for Phoenix and 14.4 in five total seasons with the team.

The Suns are reportedly looking to acquire a point guard to put alongside Devin Booker next season.

They have the sixth pick in the draft Thursday.

Warren is an intriguing fit in Indiana, as well. The team could lose Bojan Bogdanović in free agency this offseason and Warren could fit into his role if he leaves.

He could also offer some bench scoring, which the team really struggled with in the playoffs.
