The Kings are trading Gary Trent Jr.

Sacramento selected Trent with the 37th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. It then agreed to send him to the Blazers in exchange for two future second-round picks, the NBA announced Thursday.

Trent managed to average 14.5 points per game during his one season at Duke despite sharing the ball with Marvin Bagley III and Wendell Carter Jr., who were both lottery picks Thursday, as well as senior guard Grayson Allen, who was selected 21st overall by the Jazz.

Trent, a former five-star recruit, hit 40.2 percent of his 3-pointers as a freshman.

The Trail Blazers also selected guard Anfernee Simons with the 24th pick.
