Mikal Bridges will not be playing for the 76ers.

Philadelphia selected the 21-year-old Villanova forward with the No. 10 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. But the 76ers traded him to the Suns for Texas Tech guard Zhaire Smith, who was selected No. 16 overall, and a 2021 first-round pick, the NBA announced Thursday.

Suns are acquiring Mikal Bridges in a deal that will send Smith to Sixers, league source tells ESPN. Suns will send 2021 first-round pick via Miami in deal too.

Bridges won a pair of national championships with the Wildcats from 2015-18. He averaged 17.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a redshirt junior last season.

Bridges also knocked down 43.5 percent of his 3-pointers and tallied 1.5 steals per contest.

Smith averaged 11.3 points and five rebounds per game in his lone season with Texas Tech.

The Suns also drafted Arizona big man Deandre Ayton with the top-overall pick.
