Monday's national championship game has an obvious front runner.

No. 1 seed Villanova opened as a 6.5-point favorite over No. 3 seed Michigan ahead of Monday's title game.

As of Sunday morning, some sports books even had the Wildcats listed as high as a -7.5-point favorite to win it all. The over/under opened at 143.5 at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.

Villanova opened as the biggest favorite in the championship game since Duke was listed as a 7-point favorite over Butler in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, which the Blue Devils won 61-59.

The Wildcats tied the record for 3-pointers made in a Final Four game in the first half of Saturday's matchup against the Jayhawks with 13. The school then broken the record less than two minutes into the second half. Villanova finished its 95-79 victory over Kansas shooting 18 for 40 from the 3-point range.

Meanwhile, Michigan moved on to the title game after defeating Cinderella story Loyola-Chicago 69-57 on Saturday.

Villanova will tip off against Michigan at 9:20 p.m. ET.
