Most Origin tries, 263 NRL appearances – Inglis' stellar career in numbers

Greg Inglis accomplished it all in his career as the player for South Sydney Rabbitohs, Queensland Maroons and Australia.

Inglis won a NRL premiership at the Rabbitohs, led Queensland's State of Origin dominance and won a Rugby League World Cup with Australia.

The 32-year-old's glittering career, however, is over. An ongoing shoulder problem forcing the NRL great into immediate retirement on Monday.

18 – Inglis scored 18 State of Origin tries in 32 matches, more than any other player. He crossed for at least one try in nine of the 12 series he featured in.

149 – The former Melbourne Storm star recorded 149 NRL tries, 12th most of any player in premiership history and the most of any player to have played at least one game in 2019.

263 – Inglis made more than 263 NRL appearances after bursting onto the scene for the Storm in 2005. He also played in 20 games or more in nine of 10 seasons between 2007 and 2016, finishing six of those campaigns with a double-digit try tally.

78 – Before swapping the Storm for Rabbitohs in 2011, Inglis scored 78 tries for Melbourne to be ranked fourth all-time, behind Cooper Cronk (92), Matt Geyer (113) and Billy Slater (190).

39 – A Clive Churchill Medal and Golden Boot winner, Inglis represented Australia on 39 occasions following his debut in 2006.
