Wests Tigers suffered another injury blow as a 32-12 defeat to Manly Sea Eagles dented their hopes of a place in the NRL finals.
First-choice hooker Robbie Farah is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after fracturing his tibia against the Canterbury Bulldogs, and now the Tigers will be without second-choice Jacob Liddle.
Farah's replacement sustained a serious knee injury just six minutes into the Sea Eagles clash on Thursday, and Manly swiftly capitalised on the visitors' misfortune.
Jack Gosiewski got the Sea Eagles up and running in the 19th minute.
David Nofoaluma pulled one back, with Paul Momirovski's conversion restoring parity, but Manly pulled away once more when their second-rower doubled his tally.

Dylan Walker extended Manly's lead prior to the break, while two tries in quick succession from Jorge Taufua and Moses Suli put the home side out of sight - Addin Fonua-Blake adding further gloss following Luke Brooks' consolation.
While the 10th-place Tigers now face an uphill challenge to secure a finals berth, the Sea Eagles are up into fourth, and all but guaranteed a top-eight spot.
