Following the conclusion of the DreamLeague Season 10 on Sunday, all 16 Dota 2 teams competing at the upcoming 2018 Kuala Lumpur Major have been finalised, with Tigers capturing the final spot. Being a Southeast Asia-based side, it is no surprise that the team has several players from the region, including Malaysia's Lai "Ahjit" Jay Soon, ensuring a local representative at the first-ever Major tournament to be held in Malaysia.
However, he isn't the only one flying the Jalur Gemilang this November. Here, we take a look at the other Malaysian gamers who will be in action at the Kuala Lumpur Major, which will take place form November 9 to 18, as well as their respective teams...
Ahjit & MoonMeander
Real Name: Lai Jay Son & David Tan
Team: Tigers
Ahjit and MoonMeander (Malaysian-born Canadian) have been constantly on the move in the past two years, turning out for several teams before joining the newly formed Tigers, who were previously part of the TNC Pro Team, ahead the Kuala Lumpur Major qualifying round.
Tigers made it past the Open Qualifier but crashed out in the group stage of the Southeast Asian Qualifier, forcing them to enter the DreamLeague Season 10, where beat Natus Vincere 3-2 in the final, to seal their ticket.
The DreamLeague success was their second victory in the short time since their formation as they won the Southeast Asia Cyber Arena 2018 Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia two weeks earlier.
MidOne
Real Name: Yeik Nai Zheng
Team: Team Secret
MidOne arguably requires no introduction, memorably becoming the first Europe-based player (and the second in the world) to pass the 10,000 MMR milestone last year to cement himself as one of the best Dota 2 players.
His importance to Team Secret also cannot be understated as he helped his team kick off the 2018-19 Dota Pro Circuit season with all guns blazing by qualifying for the Kuala Lumpur Major and winning the PVP Esports Championship.
He then sat out the Maincast Autumn Brawl, in which Team Secret finished 5th-8th, but returned for the ESL One Hamburg 2018 to lead his team to victory and scoop the MVP award.

After spending most of his early career honing his skills at WarriorsGaming.Unity, where he was teammates with Ahjit (above), xNova linked up with his current team at the start of the year and finally had his breakthrough. Since moving to China, he has enjoyed success at several tournaments including winning EPICENTER XL and finishing as runners-up at The International 2018.
