League of Legends will be the main highlight of esports demonstration events at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia later this month.
The demonstration, which is an initiative to add esports events to the Asian Games, will kick off with Arena of Valor on August 26.
However, it is the popular game published by Riot Games that will be taking the bulk of the time with three days being allocated for it from August 27 to 29.
The competing countries in the League of Legends tournament are host nation Indonesia, East Asian qualifiers China, South Korea, and Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan (Central Asia), Pakistan (South Asia), Vietnam (Southeast Asia), and Saudi Arabia (West Asia).
Other games that will be featured at the Asian Games are Clash Royale (August 27), StarCraft II (August 30), Hearthstone (August 31) and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 (September 1).
All games will be played at the BritAma Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia.
No medals will be involved this year, but esports will be a full medal event in the 2022 edition in Hangzhou, China.
