Lakers guard Lonzo Ball to sue co-founder of Big Baller Brand, report says

Lonzo Ball is taking action against Big Baller Brand.

The Lakers guard is expected to file a suit against the brand's co-founder Alan Foster for allegedly stealing money while managing the Ball family's finances, according to an L.A. Times report.

The suit has not been processed yet, the report noted.

Ball cut ties with Foster and Big Baller Brand in late March after his financial advisor reportedly informed the family about irregularities, but Ball wasn't aware that $1.5 million went missing until then.

"(Foster has) used his access to my business and personal finances to enrich himself," Ball told ESPN. "As a result, I have decided to sever all ties with Alan, effective immediately."

The 21-year-old reportedly owns 51 percent of Big Baller Brand, according to documents obtained by ESPN.

Ball has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2018-19 season with an ankle injury.

He hasn't appeared in a game for Los Angeles since Jan. 19 and was averaging 9.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists before the injury.
