The Browns received some extra motivation heading into their primetime matchup against the Broncos scheduled for Saturday.

Former Lakers star and NBA legend Kobe Bryant surprised the team Friday in Denver and spent about an hour talking with the coaches and players.

Interim coach Gregg Williams wanted Bryant to talk to his players about what competition means to him, what motivates him and his mental approach, according to cleveland.com. Those are all topics Bryant covered in his new book, "The Mamba Mentality: How I Play." He also took questions from the players.

The Browns have won three of their last four games and are 5-7-1 as they look to snap a losing streak against the Broncos that began in 1991.

Cleveland has lost 11 straight games against Denver, which is the longest active losing streak by one franchise to another in the NFL, according to ESPN. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET.
