Josh Hart has entered the Lakers starting lineup.
The 23-year-old guard is set to start at shooting guard in the Lakers' matchup with the Suns on Wednesday. He will replace Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Hart has jumped out to a strong start in 2018-19. He has averaged 17 points and 6.3 rebounds in the Lakers' first three games while also knocking down 47.1 percent of his 3-pointers.
Hart has also registered a team-high 2.3 steals per contest.
Caldwell-Pope, on the other hand, has struggled. He’s shooting just 26.7 percent from the field and tallying 4.7 points per contest.
Hart averaged 7.9 points in 23.2 minutes per game as a rookie with Los Angeles last season.
The Lakers enter their game against Phoenix with an 0-3 record.
