UFC enemies Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier revived their feud Friday at a media event announcing their upcoming bout in UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim.
The two rivals argued and had to be separated, with Cormier throwing a water bottle at Jones and screaming, “Don’t mention my kid" as the two traded expletives.
Jones responded, "I beat you after a weekend of cocaine."
Jones and Cormier will meet in what is expected to be the main attraction in UFC 214 at the Honda Center.
Two previous scheduled rematches between the rivals had to be canceled. An injury knocked Cormier off the card of UFC 197 last year. A potential rematch in UFC 200 was scrapped after a doping violation disqualified Jones and led to a one-year ban.
Cormier (19-1) took a parting shot at Jones (22-1), hoping he doesn't prevent the fight from happening.
"Is this guy gonna mess this up again by doing steroids or snorting cocaine or sandblasting prostitutes?," Cormier said.
