Wizards star John Wall is expected to miss about two weeks as he recovers from a knee injury he suffered in a game earlier this month.

The team announced Saturday that Wall had an MRI Friday on his left knee. He's been dealing with discomfort and swelling since banging knees with another player in a Nov. 7 game against the Mavericks.

Wall will undergo PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and viscosupplementation injections to fight the inflammation in his knee.

The 6-4 guard has continued to play at a high level despite the injury. He scored a season-high 31 points and dished out 11 assists in the Wizard's most recent game, a loss to the Hornets Wednesday. He's averaging 20.3 points and 9.2 assists per game this season.
