John Wall fed up with officials after his fifth technical foul: 'I have no respect for them'

Wizards point guard John Wall was anything but pleased with Friday's officiating crew.

He unloaded on the refs in his postgame interview after picking up a technical foul in Washington's 123-98 loss to Philadelphia.

"I have nothing to say to them," Wall told reporters. "I have nothing to say to them. I have no respect for them. Simple as that.

"I get the same excuse every time. Just because I'm stronger than everybody I don't get those calls. I have no respect for them. They do their job, I do my job. I have nothing to say about them, or nothing nice to say towards them."

Wall began to notice the officials weren't calling fouls in his favor, which led to him initiating contact with 76ers guard T.J. McConnell.

When asked if it was out of frustration, Wall said he was only trying to draw a foul.

"I only got one foul called against me the whole game and that was when I got that one right there and the one in the second half when I shot two free throws," he added. "Other than that, I didn't get a call so I just wanted to see if they (the officials) were going to call it or not."

Wall finished with just 11 points, seven assists and three rebounds in the Wizards' second consecutive loss.
