Indonesian team RRQ win MPL Invitational 4 Nation Cup

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) were crowned winners of the inaugural MLBB Professional League (MPL) Invitational 4 Nation Cup after beating Resurgence in the Grand Finals on Sunday.

The MPL Indonesia Season 5 champions blazed to a 3-0 victory over their Singaporean counterparts, ensuring they finished the entire tournament, also featuring teams from Malaysia and Myanmar, without a single loss.

RRQ had beaten Evos Legends and Resurgence 2-0 respectively during the Upper Bracket stage.

Resurgence, who won the latest edition of MPL Malaysia/Singapore, reached the Grand Finals by beating Myanmar champions Burmese Ghouls in the Lower Bracket Final.

Meanwhile, Malaysian side Geek Fam started off strongly in the Lower Bracket, overcoming Indonesia's Genflix Aerowolf, but were eliminated by Burmese Ghouls in the second round.

Besides regional bragging rights, RRQ also went home with the lion's share of US$100,000 prize pool.
